The struggle to regain my freedom has been very costly; both
emotionally
and financially. In addition to losing everything I once
owned, the
costs for legal fees, expert fees, and investigation fees have
been
staggering and debilitating. Even the costs of enduring prison has
been
overwhelming because Texas only provides glycerin soap and tooth
powder
as the necessary hygeine products for their inmates. And,
Texas does not
pay its inmates for their labor. The inmates family and/or
friends are
relied upon to send money so the inmates can make their
hygience
purchases from the prison store. I am no longer a
wealthy woman. I now
find myself in the position to have to ask for
assistance. Any that
you are willing to give is humbly accepted.
