Re:  Tracey N. Tarlton #1162159

Please withdraw the parole of Tracey N. Tarlton.  As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest her granted parole. On October 2, 1999, Tracey Tarlton shot Steven F. Beard, Jr., with a 20-guage shotgun while he was sleeping in his bed.  She publicly admitted her guilt in an open courtroom; reenacting the shooting with no remorse.

During her testimony in court, she admitted that when younger, she had even plotted, with her brothers, to kill her own mother.  Also, on September 16, 1998, she was arrested for aggravated assault with a motor vehicle for attempting to run over Reginal Breaux because he called her a "dike".  The only reason her mental illness seems cured is because she spent over 10 years in a controlled environment, under lock and key!

Tarlton received a mere 20-year sentence because she concocted a story implicating Steven Beard's wife in the shooting.  His wife received two life sentences.  She was guaranteed her first parole in exchange for her perjured testimony and this, in itself, is unconscionable.  Now, she is a free woman! Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
